Ten lovely lasses are vying for the historic title as the first "Mutya ng Mt. Matutum" scheduled on Tuesday, March 16, 7:00pm at Tupi Gymnassium and Cultural Center. To be a holder of "Mutya ng Mt. Matutum" is an achievement, said Richard Superio, chairman and pageant coreographer.

Mutya ng Mt. Matutum is one of the highlights of the weeklong fete in observance of the 15th Anniversary of Mt. Matutum Protected Landscape (MMPL). The celebration carries the theme: Kilos Bayan: Huwag Magpatalo sa Klimang Pabago-bago."
